WOLSTON SURGERY BUILDING WORK
Work will start in about the middle of April to extend and refurbish the surgery, with the provision of two extra consulting rooms and a new entrance, reception and waiting area, and other related upgrade works. The work will be in two main phases and is expected to last about 20 weeks. During the work the existing front entrance will be closed and entry will be through the side door from the car park. There will be a temporary reception desk and waiting area, all of which will all be clearly signposted.
The work has been very carefully planned and will be led by an architect and undertaken by a builder with a lot of experience of similar work to GP surgeries. The Surgery recognise that it will not be possible to undertake the work planned without some disruption and apologise in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause. Please note that during the upgrade work all staff at the practice are committed to delivering the same high quality of service that we always strive to achieve.
Wolston Surgery aim to improve the health, well- being and lives of those the surgery care for within a friendly, happy, safe and confidential environment. “We intend to ensure all staff have the competency and motivation to deliver the required standards of care. Wolston Surgery are committed to giving their patients the best possible service and would like all patients to leave the surgery feeling their concerns have been heard and any questions answered”
With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
Named Accountable GP
All patients are allocated a named GP who is responsible for your overall care at the practice. The named GP is shown on the counterfoil for ordering repeat prescriptions. Alternatively a member of the practice team will be able to let you know who your GP is. Should you have a preference for your named GP, please contact the Reception who will endeavour to accommodate your request. You are free to see any GP you choose and if you require a GP appointment urgently and your named GP is not available, please book in with another available GP.
